Refer a Colleague Thank You Offer

OTIP members will receive a complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card as a thank you from OTIP when they refer a colleague to get an auto or home insurance quote from OTIP, give that colleague a unique promo code and the referred colleague requests a free, no-obligation auto or home insurance quote from OTIP, enters the promo code, and speaks with an OTIP broker to review the quote. As a thank you to the referred colleague for discussing their quote with OTIP, the referred colleague will receive a complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card. This offer closes at 12 noon ET, December 31, 2018. Members will be provided with a unique promo code which they are to give to the colleague they are referring to OTIP. Members making the referral to a colleague must have at least one current and valid auto or home insurance policy through OTIP. The referred colleague cannot have an existing and valid auto and/or home insurance policy through OTIP at the time they request the quote. The referred colleague has one of two ways to complete a request for a quote for an auto or a home policy. Quotes can be requested online by completing the required information on the quoter page at www.otipinsurance.com, “Get a Quote”, inputting the promo code in the promo field and speaking to an OTIP broker regarding their quote to qualify the member and the referred colleague to receive the complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card as a thank you. If the online quote is not completed properly, or if the promo code is not entered, or if the referred colleague does not speak to an OTIP broker about the quote requested, then neither the member or the referred colleague will receive a complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card. If the referred colleague does not wish to complete a quote online or is unable to complete a quote online, they may call an OTIP broker at 1-866-437-6847 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET, Monday to Friday and between 9:00 am and 12 noon ET, Saturday, before this offer closes on December 31, 2018, and request a quote for an auto or a home policy. The referred colleague must provide the promo code to the broker and speak to a broker regarding their quote to qualify the member and the referred colleague to receive the complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card as a thank you. If the promo code is not provided, or if the referred colleague does not speak to an OTIP broker about the quote requested, then neither the member or the referred colleague will receive a complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card. Members will receive one complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card for every referred colleague, no matter how many quotes the referred colleague requests and/or receives throughout the time of this offer. Referred colleagues will receive a maximum of one complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card no matter how many quotes the referred colleague requests and/or receives throughout the time of this offer and provided they complete all the requirements. Referred colleagues cannot request multiple quotes for the same insurance product throughout the term of this offer. The member and the referred colleague must have a valid email address in order to receive the complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card. Please allow five business days for email delivery of the complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card. The referred colleague must request a quote and speak to an OTIP broker by 12 noon ET on December 31, 2018 for the member and the referred colleague to be eligible to receive the complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card as a thank you. At OTIP’s discretion, and without notice, this complimentary thank you offer can be withdrawn early, closed early and/or the terms and conditions changed. OTIP has the right to limit the number of complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Cards the member and the referred colleague can receive as a thank you and all decisions by OTIP are final. No purchase is necessary. The complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Cards are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash. Any and all taxes on the complimentary thank you gift awarded (whether it be a $10 Amazon.ca Gift Card or a substitute thank you gift), including income taxes, and any incidental expenses associated with collection of the complimentary $10 Amazon.ca Gift Cards are the responsibility of the recipient. OTIP is not responsible for any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, requests for quotes; failures or malfunctions of electronic data transmission, telephones, telephone lines or telephone systems, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to the referred colleague’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from contacting OTIP; the cancellation, suspension or preemption of games, injuries or timing errors, electronic or equipment failure or other communication problems occurring in connection with participation in this thank you offer nor is it responsible for any transmission of viruses from the OTIP Web site to a computer system or if any whole entry system crashes resulting in the thank you offer being cancelled or other problems or errors of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic or otherwise.

OTIP, and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, including advertising and promotional agencies, and their directors, trustees, officers and employees expressly disclaim and shall be held free of all responsibility or liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, delay or the neglect or default of any company or person providing any service for the thank you offer and/or providing quotes, whether through providers negligence or otherwise, or due to epidemic, social or political disturbances or due to any cause whatsoever occurring during the offer and the use of the thank you gift.

By taking part in this thank you offer, the member and the referred colleague releases and forever discharges OTIP and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, including advertising and promotional agencies, and their directors, trustees, officers and employees from any and all actions, proceedings, suits, liabilities, claims, damages, costs, expenses and demands which he or she may at any time hereafter have against OTIP and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, including advertising and promotional agencies, and their directors, trustees, officers and employees in respect of anything done by it in the performance of its duties hereunder. The member and the referred colleague further agree to indemnify and save harmless OTIP and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, including advertising and promotional agencies, and their directors, trustees, officers and employees from any and all actions, proceedings, suits, liabilities, claims, damages, costs, expenses and demands brought, commenced or had against them in respect of anything done by it in the performance of its duties hereunder. The provisions of this section shall survive the termination of this thank you offer and may be relied upon by the parties hereto at any time.
